1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Axy's website (axy-app.com), conference apps, journal club tools, and knowledge graph platform (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

2. Description of Services

Axy provides AI-powered tools for scientific collaboration, including conference apps with personalized recommendations and organizer tools, journal club and lab meeting management tools, and a collaborative knowledge graph platform. Services may be updated, modified, or discontinued at our discretion.

3. Accounts

Some features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information and promptly update it if it changes.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our Services to violate any laws or regulations, infringe on intellectual property rights, transmit harmful or malicious content, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, interfere with other users' use of the Services, or use automated systems to scrape or extract data without our consent.

5. Intellectual Property

Our content

The Services, including their design, features, and content created by Axy, are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary content without permission.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you create on our platform, including knowledge graph contributions, annotations, and paper selections. By submitting content, you grant Axy a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content as part of the Services. For collaborative features like knowledge graphs, your contributions may be visible to and built upon by other users.

Conference data

Conference program data (abstracts, schedules) is provided by and remains the property of conference organizers. Axy processes this data under agreements with organizers to deliver the Services.

6. Pricing & Payment

Conference app pricing is as agreed between Axy and the conference organizer. Journal club tools are free for academic research groups. Knowledge graph platform access is available by arrangement. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified in a separate agreement.

7. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Axy does not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated recommendations will meet your specific needs. Our knowledge graph platform contains user-generated content; Axy does not guarantee its accuracy.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Axy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amounts paid by you to Axy in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases, but provisions that by their nature should survive will continue to apply.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. For users in the European Economic Area, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence may also apply.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
